Coffee, Comfort, and Gilmore Girls

For this assignment, I created a narrative podcast that explored a personal story using voiceover and sound design. I decided to center my episode on why rewatching Gilmore Girls has become such a meaningful tradition for my mom and me. To build the story, I gathered ambient audio from our living room to help set the scene and wrote a script that blended memory, reflection, and commentary on how the show has grown with me over time. I also took photos and revisited old family routines to bring authenticity to the episode. The final podcast is a mix of storytelling and emotion, showing how a simple rewatch can become a source of comfort and connection.
